ESL Assistant는 마이크로소프트 리서치에서 개발한 영작 점검 서비스입니다. 입력한 영어 작문의 스펠링과 간단한 문법 오류를 체크해 주는데요. 영어 공부는 물론 네이버 지식인의 수많은 중고딩에게 많은 도움이 될 것 같습니다.. ㅎ
사용 방법은 상당히 간단합니다.
1. 영작 텍스트를 입력하고 초록색 체크 버튼을 누릅니다.
2. 일단 스펠링이 먼저 체크된 후 다시 수락 버튼을 누르면 문법 오류를 점검합니다. (‘철자 체크 하지 않음’에 체크하면 철자는 건너 띄고 바로 문법 오류만 살펴봅니다.)
3. 오류가 있는 부분은 밑줄로 표시되고 마우스를 올리면 추천 제시어를 표시해줍니다. 특이하게 추천 제시어에 마우스를 올리면 아래 검색엔진을 이용해 바로 바로 해당 어휘의 검색 결과를 보여주는데.. 이 검색 결과 숫자로 어느 표현이 실제로 많이 쓰이는지 비교해 볼 수 있습니다.
이밖에 아웃룩 플러그인을 이용해 이메일 작성에도 적용할 수 있습니다.. ^^;

- 동사의 형태적 오류:

- 조동사 선택의 오류:
- My teacher does is a great person.

- 동명사와 원형부정사의 오류:
